Welcome to a sacred space where healing begins at the root—your womb. I’m Sherress Hicks, a certified fertility doula through the National Black Doula Association (certified in 2021), and a vaginal steam facilitator since 2018. My journey into reproductive health isn’t just professional—it’s deeply personal.

At the age of 24, I experienced a miscarriage that shifted everything. Years later, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I found myself asking questions no one seemed to answer:
Why did this happen? What was my body trying to tell me?

My search for answers led me beyond Western medicine and into the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine and traditional womb healing. I began studying peri-steam hydrotherapy with Steamy Chick Institute, and through that, I was introduced to the spiritual and physical power of vaginal steaming. I completed my vaginal steam facilitator certification in 2018, and from that moment on, I’ve been committed to healing not only my own womb—but helping other women do the same.

Why the Womb?

Your womb is sacred. It’s more than a physical organ—it’s an energetic center that holds trauma, grief, joy, pain, dreams, and creation. The womb remembers. Whether you've experienced fertility challenges, painful periods, emotional trauma, or simply feel disconnected from your body, your womb is calling to be heard and healed.

My Fertility Doula Services

I currently offer virtual womb steam consultations—absolutely free. We’ll talk, connect, and explore your womb story. If you choose to move forward, I’ll create a personalized steam treatment plan just for you.

You can choose from one of the following paths:

• TTC (Trying to Conceive): Focused on preparing the womb to welcome new life
• Cleansing: Ideal for those with irregular cycles, hormonal imbalances, or past reproductive surgeries
• Trauma: Designed to release emotional and energetic blockages stored in the womb

These plans are fluid and may be used interchangeably—because true womb healing isn’t linear. You may be trying to conceive, but it’s trauma that’s blocking your womb. You may need to cleanse because of emotional trauma. Or you may find that cleansing unlocks the space needed for deep emotional healing. It’s all connected. And that’s the beauty of this work.
